This document describes the general website terms and privacy practices for Sharoz.Dev. Separate written client agreements may include additional or different terms for paid work.

01

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Sharoz.Dev, operated by Sharoz.Dev (SMC-Private) Limited, handles information through this portfolio and service website.

The current implementation is a public portfolio and service website for software, web design, web development, web app, IT consultancy, and agency support services, with CMS-powered content, project pages, resources, blog content, and a Work With Me inquiry page.

The company is registered in Pakistan. Private registration records, personal addresses, tax identifiers, certificate numbers, and internal contract details are intentionally not published here.

02

Information Visitors Provide

Visitors may choose to provide information when they use the Work With Me inquiry form or contact Sharoz.Dev through a published contact method.

The Work With Me inquiry flow may ask for name, email, company or brand, required service, project summary, budget, timeline, and preferred next step.

  • Inquiry details are used to understand the request and decide how to respond.
  • Visitors should avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, or highly sensitive personal information through general inquiry fields.
  • If an inquiry cannot be processed, visitors may be asked to contact Sharoz.Dev through another published method.
03

Contact And Project Inquiries

Project inquiry information may be used to understand the request, assess fit, prepare a reply, discuss timing or budget, and decide whether to move into a proposal, call, or separate client agreement.

No automatic client relationship is created by sending an inquiry, submitting a form, or requesting a call.

04

Email Communication

If a visitor contacts Sharoz.Dev by email or sends an inquiry that is delivered by email, the information in that message may be used to respond, discuss requirements, prepare project documentation, and maintain related business correspondence.

Email correspondence may be retained as part of normal business records.

05

Booking Tools

Sharoz.Dev may use external booking or meeting tools when scheduling calls. If a visitor uses an external booking link, that service may process information under its own privacy terms.

Visitors can choose whether to use an external booking tool or continue the conversation through the contact method provided.

06

Server And Security Logs

Like most websites and hosting environments, the site and related services may create server, diagnostic, and security logs. Those logs may include technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps, and error information.

These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, performance monitoring, and maintaining the website.

07

Cookies And Analytics

Sharoz.Dev does not currently use advertising pixels, newsletter tracking, or cookie-based marketing on this website.

The website is prepared to use Umami Analytics for basic, privacy-conscious website measurement when the owner enables it for staging or production. Umami is configured without advertising tracking, session replay, heatmaps, visitor identification, or inquiry-form personal data.

Analytics events are limited to page views and coarse interactions such as service views, project views, resource visits, social-link clicks, Calendly clicks, and inquiry form status. Inquiry names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages, budgets tied to an identifiable visitor, Turnstile tokens, SMTP data, CMS credentials, and full form payloads must not be sent to analytics.

The current analytics setup is intended to be cookieless and to exclude URL query strings and hashes. A cookie banner is not added for this configuration. The owner should review this analytics wording before production launch and update it if advertising, remarketing, newsletter tracking, session replay, or more invasive analytics are introduced.

08

Newsletter

Sharoz.Dev does not currently operate a newsletter signup on this website.

If a newsletter is offered, subscribers will be told what information is collected and how to unsubscribe.

09

CMS And Externally Hosted Content

The website is built with a Next.js frontend and a Strapi CMS. Public pages may request published CMS content and media such as services, testimonials, projects, blog posts, resources, and uploaded images.

The current code supports media served from the local CMS during development and from sharoz.dev domains in production. Public pages should not expose private CMS, database, hosting, or security configuration details.

10

How Information May Be Used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, discuss project needs, prepare estimates, proposals, scopes of work, change orders, invoices, or agreements, schedule calls if a booking tool is connected, maintain business records, improve the website, protect the website, and comply with applicable obligations.

Sharoz.Dev does not sell visitor inquiry information.

11

Retention

Inquiry and communication records should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for business, legal, security, and recordkeeping purposes.

Some records may need to be kept longer where required for contracts, accounting, tax, dispute handling, security, or legal reasons.

12

Data Security

Sharoz.Dev should use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Security-related configuration details, secrets, database credentials, and private infrastructure details are not published on the website.

13

Third-Party Processors

Sharoz.Dev may rely on service providers for website hosting, CMS software and storage, email delivery, external booking tools, analytics, security, and related business operations.

Those providers may process information only as needed to provide their services, protect systems, maintain records, or comply with applicable obligations.

14

International Visitors

Sharoz.Dev is registered in Pakistan, and the website may be visited by people outside Pakistan. Information may be processed in locations where Sharoz.Dev, the website, hosting provider, CMS, email service, or related tools operate.

Visitors outside Pakistan understand that their information may be processed in Pakistan or other locations where relevant service providers operate.

15

User Rights And Requests

Visitors may request access, correction, or deletion of information they have provided, subject to any legal, security, or legitimate recordkeeping needs.

Contact method: Use the contact or inquiry method published on this website.

16

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business and professional audiences. It is not directed to children.

If Sharoz.Dev learns that a child has provided personal information, the information should be deleted where appropriate.

17

Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the website, forms, analytics, newsletter, booking tools, CMS behavior, or legal requirements change.

The effective date will be updated when the policy changes materially.
