Project overview
A homepage redesign for Odyssey Home Inspection, created in collaboration with Dabaran Inc. The project introduced a modern visual identity, clearer service information, and prominent inspection calls to action, establishing the design direction used across the remaining pages.
Problem

The existing website’s dated design, missing footer, and lack of calls to action made it difficult for visitors to move toward an inspection enquiry. The redesign needed to communicate professionalism and trust while giving prospective customers a clear understanding of the services and how to get started.
Design response

I chose deep green, warm neutral backgrounds, and gold accents to create a trustworthy, professional feel. Refined typography gave the website a premium appearance, while clearly structured sections brought services, credentials, and the inspection process into focus. Repeated scheduling calls to action and inspection request sections gave visitors clear next steps throughout the homepage.

The website is now live. I completed the homepage design and development, including functional inspection enquiry forms, before handing the project to another team member. They built the remaining pages using my established visual direction. The finished homepage presents the services more clearly and gives visitors direct ways to request an inspection.

I handled the homepage design and development, including the visual direction, color palette, typography, and page layout. After completing the homepage, I moved to another project and handed over the established design direction to a colleague, who developed the rest of the website.

My work covered the homepage design in Figma and development in WordPress using Elementor. It included service information, credentials, the inspection process, reviews, FAQs, functional inspection enquiry forms, scheduling calls to action, and a footer. I also established the colors, typography, and design direction used for the remaining pages.
